Soft Tissue Periodontics

Gum Grafting
If you have gum recession (exposed tooth roots), we offer grafting procedures. We take tissue from one area (often the roof of the mouth) and graft it where needed to cover roots. This prevents sensitivity, decay, and improves appearance.
Pocket Reduction
For patients with deep periodontal pockets, we can perform flap surgery to clean under the gums more thoroughly. After removing infected tissue, we reattach the gums snugly around your teeth.
Soft Tissue Laser Therapy
We may use laser treatments to gently remove diseased gum tissue and disinfect the area. Laser therapy often leads to faster healing and less discomfort.
Treatment of Lesions
Any abnormal soft tissue growths or lesions in the mouth can be evaluated and treated. We can perform biopsies or remove growths to ensure health and comfort.

Proper soft tissue health is vital for a long-lasting smile. By treating conditions like receding gums or periodontal pockets, we help safeguard the underlying bone and prevent tooth loss. Our advanced periodontic techniques restore a healthy gum line and improve overall oral function.
